  • Private property only. Never the street.

Free to join. No card, no commitment.

Renting your space for just one night is awkward today.

Chase Center has 61 event days from October 2026 to July 2027 [2]. Paid lots about the same walk away were listed at $16–$43 for two October events [1]. If your space sits empty on some of those nights, your choices aren't great:

  • A monthly renter pays about $300 a month in SF [5], but takes your space every night.
  • Big parking apps work best when your space is open 24/7, and may set the price for you [6].
  • A sign on the fence means being home, taking cash, and talking to strangers at the curb.

For homeowners

Keep your driveway. Use the event nights.

Listing is not open yet. This is how hosting will work when it opens.

  • Keep the space the rest of the month

You'll open event nights only, and keep the driveway for yourself every other night.

  • Set your own price per car

You'll choose what a driver pays for one car, between $10 and $150 a day, and you can change it before anything goes live.

  • Cars off the street, onto your property

We list driveways, garages, and carports. We do not list public street parking.

How it works

Three steps, once listing opens.

  1. 01

    Join the list

Tell us your name and an address or ZIP near Chase Center. We'll email you when listing opens.

  2. 02

Set a price and the nights you're free

You'll pick event nights and a per-car price between $10 and $150 a day. Nothing goes live until you say so.

  3. 03

    Drivers pay ahead

Drivers will pay before they arrive. When you get paid isn't decided yet. You'll see that before anything goes live.

Illustrative estimates

What drivers might pay for your space in a season.

These are what drivers would pay for your space, before taxes. You keep all of it: our $2.99 booking fee is paid by drivers, on top.

    $180

you'd keep this season, before taxes

    • 30 nights open
    • 1 in 5 (20%) booked
    • $30 a car

Assumption: your own car is home most weeknights, so you open 30 nights, and a new marketplace books 1 in 5 (20%) at $30.

    • 45 nights open
    • about 1 in 3 (35%) booked
    • $37.50 a car

Assumption: 45 nights listed, and about 1 in 3 (35%) booked. That's our first guess of half booked, cut by 30% because we're new. $37.50 a car. This is the middle case, not a forecast.

    $1,098

you'd keep this season, before taxes

    • all 61 event nights
    • 2 in 5 (40%) booked
    • $45 a car

61 days are the Chase Center event days listed from Oct 2026 to Jul 2027 (ParkWhiz, captured Sep 30, 2026 [2]). The 2-in-5 (40%) booking rate and the $45 price are assumptions.

What you give up

  • Your space for about 5–6 hours each booked night (our estimate; event parking usually runs about an hour before to an hour after [1]).
  • A spot for your own car on the night street parking is hardest, with permit rules and $13/hr event meters nearby [3].
  • Some privacy: your address and map pin will be public on a published listing.
  • Some time: moving your car and clearing the space might take 10–20 minutes (our estimate).
  • Some risk: a stranger's car on your property. We don't offer damage protection or a host guarantee.

Paid lots a similar walk from Chase Center were listed at about $16–$43 for two October events (SpotHero and ParkWhiz, Sep 30, 2026 [1]). A driveway 15–20 minutes away might ask $25–$45 per car. That range is our estimate, not a quote. The price you set has to be between $10 and $150 a day.

Estimate only. These figures are before income tax and before any San Francisco parking tax (25% on off-street parking [4]; we're confirming how it applies to hosts). If drivers only pay what nearby lots charge today (median $21.75 [1]), the middle case would be about $343, before taxes. Many spaces will earn less. Nothing here is income you can count on.

Questions

Before you join the list.

Is a stranger's car safe on my property?

A booking would put someone else's car on your property. DrivewayFindr does not offer damage protection or a host guarantee. Call your insurer first, and check your HOA rules or lease.

What if a car is damaged, or someone doesn't leave?

There's no damage protection and no host guarantee. When listing opens, each booking will have an end time. Don't tow a car without reading your local rules first.

When do I get paid?

Payouts are not built yet. You'll keep 100% of your daily price, and drivers pay a $2.99 booking fee on top. Joining the list is free.

How much work is an event night?

You should not have to stand outside or take cash. Drivers will pay ahead and see your address before they arrive. A booking would use the space for about 5–6 hours (our estimate), and you'd need somewhere else for your own car.

Is this legal, and is the income taxed?

Whether city planning rules cover renting your own driveway or garage by the event is still an open question. We're checking it before listing opens. Renting the street in front of your house is not allowed, and we never list it. Check your HOA rules or lease first. The money you earn is taxable income. San Francisco charges a 25% tax on paid off-street parking (SF Treasurer, accessed Oct 1, 2026) [4]. Who collects it for DrivewayFindr bookings isn't settled yet. This isn't legal or tax advice.

Will my address be public?

If you list, drivers will see your street address and map pin before they book. Gate codes go only to someone who has paid. Joining the list does not publish your address.

Who can't list?

You can't list with no off-street space, if a car would stick out over the sidewalk, if the space is on the street, or if your HOA or lease says no.

What if a driver doesn't show up, or doesn't leave on time?

Every booking will have a set end time. That's the only rule built so far. What happens when a driver doesn't show, or stays past the end time, isn't built yet. That includes any overstay charge and any way to reach us during an event. We're working on it, and you'll see the rules before you publish. Until then, only open nights when a late car wouldn't leave you stuck. Cancellation rules aren't set yet either. You'll see them before listing opens.

Your driveway could earn on event nights.
